Technology Club

Technology club meets every Monday of the month but is occasionally canceled. In technology club of the year 2008-2009 the students will be working on editing web pages for the Rye Junior High website and ,beginning in December, will be working on a podcast.

Tools and Protocols for creating web pages.
Tools
Color choices are below. (You can keep this page open in your browser, while selecting colors. This will keep some uniformity with the colors.)
Templates:
- with full header - SAU-50 RJH template
(available when creating a new page with Templates)
- secondary header page
Protocols
Fonts - use available fonts -prefer Century Gothic; next use Arial or Verdana
Work within your own folder. Tech Club has a folder called techclub.
Titles & naming pages:
- When titling pages, use Capital letters; can add RJH in title. This will show on the top of the web page.
- When saving pages, use lower case and shorten. Do NOT use spaces in the page name.
Use an Updated: piece on the bottom, that will automatically change when saved.
Have a link on the bottom to return to the school's home page.
Use section anchors, if the page is getting long.
Use the spell check feature before sending for review.
Send page for review.
