NOTICES TO STUDENTS

 

  • No Tech Club meeting today.

 

  • Next Tuesday Mrs. Costanzo will meet with 8th grade parents at 6:30 pm at RJH to talk about the course selection process. Next Thursday PHS will hold an Open House. 8th graders and their parents will meet with the counselor, Amy Donovan in the little Theater meeting room any time between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. – Students applying to Honors classes should be working on their applications now.

 

  • Would you like to help make the animals at the SPCA feel as comfortable as possible before they are adopted?? The Shelter needs your help – Our goal is to fill the back of Ms. Ellwood’s car with donations of food, toys, blankets and towels. The homeroom that collects the most by March 19th will win a class Pinata. All donations will be collected in your homeroom.

 

  • Yearbook Meeting next Monday & Tuesday. ALL members must attend.

 

  • Any 8th grader planning to go on the field trip on Tuesday – must have their permission slip turned in by today. Fee is $5.00

 

  • The deadline for entering writing and art for Talents by the Sea is fast approaching. Please submit your entry no later than March 19th. All writing must be typed with your name and grade in the upper left corner. Entries can be submitted in the library.

 

  • Rye Public Library Announcements:  – Friday Flicks showing Hayao Miyazki’s newest anime film “Poyno” at 3:10. Saturday – Mike Sullivan is hosting a “rated” Chess Tournament. You can get your registration forms at the library.

 

ATHLETICS______________________________________________

 

  • Any student interested in playing Spring Sports at RJH must sign up with Ms. Cronin or Mr. Fortier by  this Friday March 12th. . Sports include: Baseball, Softball, and Track & Field.

 

  • NOTE - there are only 9 boys signed up for baseball. We need 3 to 4 more to sign up or we may not be able to have a team this year!!

NOTICES TO STUDENTS

  • Student Council will meet on today in the Art room from 3:00 to 4:00.

 

  • Mandatory Yearbook Meeting today after school. Please meet 2nd floor of library. ALL members must attend.

 

  • Any 8th grader planning to go on the field trip on Tuesday – must have their permission slip turned in by tomorrow. Fee is $5.00

 

  • Art Club meeting today in the Art room until 4:00. All students are welcome

NOTICES TO STUDENTS

  • Student Council will meet on Thursday in the Art room from 3:00 to 4:00.

  • Attention 8th Grade Students: 8th graders will be meeting with PHS counselor on Thursday morning to begin course selection. All students attending PHS need to turn in to their homeroom teacher the home/emergency info sheets by tomorrow.
