Classroom connections Getting ready for 2010 Pumpkin Palooza! Mr. Scogin's 6th grade math students are beginning to plan and promote next year's Giant Pumpkin Contest by harvesting, packaging and marketing Giant Pumpkin seeds from the 2009 biggest pumpkins. In art classes, Mrs. Vitali will ask students to design and create seed packets based on the quantitative and qualitative data collected in math class. Pumpkin Seeds Data: Germination Rates
